Chelsea M. Smith is an NYC-based actress and singer hailing from New Jersey where she first began pursuing performing arts at a young age. Chelsea received her Bachelor of Music from The Boston Conservatory and her Master of Music with an emphasis in Musical theatre from NYU Steinhardt. Throughout her tenure in higher education, she performed in several opera and musical theatre productions landing roles such as the First lady in Mozart's The Magic Flute, Frasquita in Carmen, Helena Landless in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Ayah in The Secret Garden.
Right After completing her degrees, she auditioned and performed in several productions with credits such as The Dynamites in Hairspray (The Argyle Theatre), Madame Garderobe in The Beauty and the Beast ( Disney Cruiseline), Marie in Cinderella (Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre), and Joanne in RENT (The San Antonio Broadway Theatre).
When not auditioning and honing her craft, Chelsea can be found cooking and pretending she’s a Top chef, riding her bike, teaching in schools, and attempting the latest TikTok Trends.
